It's 9/11/01. Two lost souls only known as Pretty One and Hero wake up in a strange, heaven-like realm. Without memories or belongings, they must overcome obstacles on the journey to find out who they really are. The Road To Beyond is a modern fairy tale that reminds us that every single human being on earth has significance and that even in inexplicable tragedy we are connected to one another. It explores the quest for life's purpose and introduces a plausible afterlife that offers hope to anyone who has ever lost a loved one.

On the morning of September 11th, Micki, a Madison Avenue creative, was living in Manhattan when tragedy struck. Her then boyfriend now husband, ran from the burning building. A survivor. In the aftermath of chaos, she noticed a cloud above the place where the Twin Towers once stood. It lingered for weeks, luminous and heavy. It made her wonder. Maybe it wasn’t a cloud at all, but the collective souls of those who lost their lives that day, looking down on us. The image - an indelible memory - inspired the story, The Road To Beyond.
